The Wisconsin Fleet Maintenance Council was founded in November 1977. The purpose of the council is the improvement of professional knowledge through the exchange of ideas and practices in the trucking and equipment maintenance shops. Since our founding, two other councils have started in Milwaukee and Plover/Stevens Point. All 3 councils meet twice yearly and set coordinated programs to furnish the best technical representatives possible. In contrast to some maintenance councils and organizations with emphasis on socializing, we are committed to the exchange of ideas, practices and concise informative programs. Our membership is open to managers, technicians and vendors. The fee is $50/year per membership.
